Walsh Cup

Offaly 2-15

Westmeath 1-16

Despite being 8 points down at the break our hurlers fought back brilliantly in the 2nd half with a long range effort from Robbie Greville finding the net to bring the game level after 50 minutes.

However a goal in either half from debutant Colm Gath helped the hosts to a 2 point win in Banagher.

Next Sunday these sides meet again in Mullingar to decide who qualifies for the next round.
